Wed Drop-In – Conversion under the VIMA CARE
About the event
Interested in finding out more about the fundraising process for SMEs and start-up’s and what key legal documents you should have or issues you should consider?
Join us for a small online group discussion with like-minded business people on Wednesday, 6 October 2021 from 6 pm to 7 pm (Singapore time).
Come for a short presentation in our series and stay for a chance to interact and exchange views and ideas with other participants!
Founders, venture capital funds, angel investors, family offices and commercialisation professionals are all welcome and we hope to get a good mix of views from people with various backgrounds.
We gave a brief overview of the VIMA CARE during our last session on 22 September 2021.
For our last upcoming Wednesday Drop-In session for this year, we’ll discuss conversion mechanisms under VIMA CARE.
The VIMA CARE is the convertible note model agreement part of the Venture Investment Model Agreements (VIMA) put out jointly by the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association and the Singapore Academy of Law. The VIMA CARE is the Singapore version of the SAFE or a convertible note popular for smaller investments leading up to a larger funding round.
There will be a chance to ask questions at the end of the discussion.
